The 19th Eurasian Grassland Conference heads to Italy in late September

The 19th Eurasian Grassland Conference (EGC) will be held from the 26th of August to the 1st of September 2024 in Bolzano, Italy.

‘Grasslands as biodiversity hotspots’ is the theme of this year’s conference. A preliminary program for the event includes a workshop on insects in grasslands as well as talks, excursions, and more.

The event is organised by Eurac Research's Institute for Alpine Environment with support from the International Association of Vegetation Science and the Eurasian Dry Grassland Group. The conference sessions will take place at the Eurac Research headquarters.

Registration for the conference closes on the 31st of May.
