Pensoft and VCS recognise talent at the 33rd Conference of the European Vegetation Survey in Perugia

The 33rd Conference of the European Vegetation Survey (EVS) was held in Perugia, Italy from the 28th April to the 2nd May. 

The conference was organised under the patronage of the International Association for Vegetation Science (IAVS), the Italian Botanical Society (SBI), the Italian Society of Vegetation Science (SISV), and the University of Perugia.

The event featured interesting topics related to classification, patterns and dynamics, monitoring and mapping, invasive species, and biogeographical patterns of European vegetation. Participants enjoyed four keynote lectures, several thematic sessions, and engaging poster sessions.

Pensoft and VCS awarded a Best Poster certificate to Štěpánka Pustková of Masaryk University for her work titled “Early Richness, Later Loss: Threatened Plant Species Dynamics in Restored Wetlands?” She won a free publication in VCS for her exceptional work.
