New Special Collection: ‘Broad-scale classification of European vegetation’

To celebrate its first Journal Impact Factor, Vegetation Classification and Survey (VCS), in collaboration with the European Vegetation Survey (EVS), has launched a new Special Collection, titled: ‘Broad-scale classification studies of European vegetation.’ 

The collection welcomes both original research papers and review papers from the national to the continental scale. Presenters at the 33rd conference of the EVS in Perugia this year are especially welcome to submit papers related to their presentations, but the Special Collection is open to any paper fitting its scope.

The abstract submission deadline is 30 September 2025, and the manuscript submission deadline is 31 January 2026. Manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process and be published on a one-by-one basis once accepted.
